| A specialized Wire and Cable distributor in the Southwest
US presented us with an opportunity for an end user in Iraq.
The end user needed a Special Cable for replacement on a current
product they were purchasing here in the United States from
a private contractor. The cable specifications called for High
Temperatures and UV resistance that the end user's requirements
called for. We worked quickly with SAB Bröckskes in Germany
to meet the end user’s requirements and created a special SAB
cable according to the specification. On top of the special
requirements the end user needed the cable within 4 weeks.
We guaranteed delivery within 2 weeks once the specification
was approved by all of the parties involved. At this time SAB
Bröckskes has manufactured the special cable and it is
on its way directly from Germany to the Middle East meeting
the end user’s time requirements and specifications. |

The S 910 CP is a great new addition to our halogen free cables. This cable is a highly flexible single conductor cable that can be used in cable tracks. It is shielded with tin copper braiding that is good against electrical interference (EMI/EMC), which is useful in places that have multiple electrical devices running. With good chemical resistance (acids, alkalines, solvents, hydraulic liquids etc.), and high abrasion resistance it is ideal in a factory setting. Holidays with SAB in NYC
Every year at SAB we celebrate our holiday season with our President,
Peter Bröckskes and some of our colleagues from Germany. This year
we took a trip into NYC and had a nice evening celebrating at The
View in the Marriot Marquis, and then dinner at Carmine's for some
family-style Italian food. It was a great evening to celebrate
our success of 2008 and to prepare ourselves for another great
year in 2009.
